Danaloka a retreat cabin, a million miles and 40 minutes from London |
site by us!

How to book the cabin - terms etc Call 0798 33 33 66 2 Just email your name/s, dates + phone number CLICK HERE to email us Most payment methods are fine: Paypal, cheque or credit card etc You can check availability online now. CANCELLATIONS: < 1 month 100% payable, < 2 months 50%, > 2 months 25% payable. To avoid any misunderstandings over undelivered emails or texts we respectfully mention that sending is not necessarily proof of us receiving a message. So, cancellations are always confirmed by us when notified. We only had one query but it was for a month! CLEANING: All bookings are accepted on the basis that the cabin is left ready for the next visitor. We do not have a cleaner. There is a leaving checklist which includes the cabin, replacing logs, cleaning, toilet emptying and advising of empty water and gas containers which need to come back to London if possible. By arrangement it might be possible to hire a local cleaner but please arrange this when booking. Danaloka is a shared resource and Bookings
are only accepted on the understanding that the cabin is left ready
for the next visitor. This includes replacing any used logs for the fire
and emptying the chemical toilet (Biodegradable chemistry) and in the
summer sharing the grass cutting. Unless previously specifically agreed
we do not have the resources to ‘service’ the cabin between visitors,
so please leave Danaloka prepared and ready. Obviously maintenance will
need to be carried out periodically and together with regular visitors
we will do all we can to keep your work down to a minimum. We do reserve
the right to request that our costs be met should a visitors negligence
create a problem. In 6 years this has only happened once but Please
do not leave anything behind for us to attend to. Obviously we will
visit if needs be and go out there regularly but a 40 mile round trip
to do a minor job, collect a cheque or empty water bottle really takes up a lot of precious
time. |
