We strive to maintain Danaloka as a shared resource and accept contributions which more or less cover maintenance costs and a small surplus for improvements. This viability ensures the future of the cabin so please do what you can to support this goal. 100% donations go to Danaloka itself. There's no admin cost, as such, and nobody receives any kind of payment*. The Land Rover diesel is reimbursed for the transport of visitors but drivers volunteer their time.

Under certain circumstances (bereavement, ill health etc) the cabin may be available free of charge. It is our warmest wish to share the beauty of this little spot with as many people as possible and we hope that financial standing will never prevent this. We do sponsor people regularly, who would not normally be able to afford to pay and we solicit your help in the form of sponsorship and donations.

Booking week* is usually: Friday to Friday, midday departure, but not inflexible. Prices are for solitary use: Please add 10% pp extra

We try hard to not let money get in the way of those wishing to stay at the cabin. Some unwaged people are able to benefit from this ethos by being helped by those that can afford to donate a little extra.

NOTES:

  • Prices are for solitary use: Please add 10% pp extra
  • Payment by card is fine via Paypal but please add £5 fee
  • Booking week is usually: Friday to Friday and 12 noon is normal handover
  • We offer: Weekends, Mon-Fri, 5 day bookings or whole weeks, if possible. Odd days are awkward but not impossible.
  • Bank Holiday weeks plus 30%. Bank Holiday Long Weekend Only plus 70%
  • Peak Bank Holiday Weeks of Easter, Christmas and NewYear min rate £295 pw
  • Booking assumes acceptance of our standard Terms and Conditions
  • Availability is not guaranteed until payment is received but cancellation fees do apply

* Very rarely Legal/Professional fees excluded.
